Reviewer: Stefani Clayton Rating: 5 Stars Heat level: H Stone’s Prisoner had my heart racing one minute and crying the next. It is a rare story that can send me through the emotions, but this one did. From the moment I started reading I sat riveted, unable to drag my attention away. It was that good! Stone’s character tries to be ruthless, but he simply fails miserably when it comes to Valerie. Valerie’s character is very much what you would expect from a woman who’s had her life turned upside down by a divorce that she didn’t ask for. Ms. James gave us just enough information to grab my interest and now I’m hooked! The sexual scenes were hot, but they really did take a back seat to the storyline, which was a welcomed change from the usual sex for the sake of sex stories I have been getting recently. Heath’s character was interesting and I will be looking forward to reading his story. I have to say, this is a great summer read, and I highly recommend Stone’s Prisoner to anyone.
